It was a mix of nervous excitement and professional curiosity. The day began with an orientation session where the principal discussed the school’s vision, mission, and the specific code of conduct expected from both students and faculty. I was introduced to my Cooperating Teacher (CT), a seasoned educator who immediately made me feel welcome. We spent the afternoon reviewing her class schedule, discussing the syllabus for the quarter, and going over the faculty handbook. She emphasized the importance of punctuality and professional dress code.
