Destination Description:- Sunsan ke Sahachar, a book written by Pt. Shriram Sharma Acharya on his journey to sacred Himalayas in year 1960-61, during his one year self imposed seclusion in Uttarakhand Himalayas. He travelled to many places near Gangorti and described the real meaning of life that how we can learn from different elements of nature. Through this travel to Gomukh one can experience to visit those places which Gurudev visited and also to feel the majestic Himalaya journey through the words of Gurudev.

DAY 01:- HARIDWAR - UTTARKASHI (180 KILOMETER / 6 - 7 HOURS)

Uttarkashi Weather – Generally hot in summer, the temperature ranges from 30-35 degree Celsius but nights is pleasant, Cold in winters.

DAY 02:-  UTTARKASHI - GANGOTRI (100 KMS/4HRS)

To reach your next destination of Yatra head for Uttarkashi, on your way, visit Prakateshwar Caves (formed by limestone and dedicated to Lord Shiva), Sukki Chatti & Bhojwasa Chatti (Where Gurudev stayed duing his Himalayan yatra), Jagnani Chatti (3 Holy Kund of Hot Water). Make most of your time at Uttarkashi by visiting the temple of Lord Vishwanath and in the end Gangotri temple and Bhagirathi shila, Overnight stay.

DAY 03:-  GANGOTRI – BHOJWASA (14 KMS/ 5 -6 HOURS)

Early morning starts Your journey to Bhojwasa via Chirbasa. Enjoy the mesmerizing views of Himalayan valley. After reaching at Bhojwasa, check in at hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at Bhojwasa.

Gangotri Weather – The maximum temperature during summer can go up to 20° Celsius. Summer nights can get cooler with a minimum temperature of 10° Celsius. Light woolen clothes are required while visiting Gangotri during summer. Winter season is very chilly in Gangotri. Gangotri will be covered in sheets of snow during winter. Pilgrim centers remains closed throughout winter due to heavy snow falls.

DAY 04:- BHOJWASA - GOMUKH - BHOJWASA (04 KMS EACH SIDE/ 4 HOURS)

Morning after breakfast, start trekking to Gomukh. It takes around 4 to 5 kms to reach closer to Gaumukh Glacier from Bhojwasa. After spending some quality time at Gaumukh, we will return to Bhojwasa. Overnight stay at Bhojwasa.

DAY 05:- BHOJWASA - GANGOTRI - UTTARKASHI (14 TREK KMS -100 KMS BY ROAD/ 10 HOURS)

Early morning after breakfast we will begin our Spiritual journey towards Birth place of Lord Krishna, Mathura. On arrival in Mathura, perform pooja and darshan at Gayatri Tapobhumi. DAY 03: MATHURA (GAYATRI TAPOBHUMI) – ANWALKHEDA – Via AGRA (70 KMS / 2 HRS)

After morning breakfast, start your Journey to Anwalkheda, the birthplace of Gurudev , Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya . Enroute visit tourist place of agra Like Taj Mahal, Agra Fort. On arrival at Anwalkheda, perform darsan and pooja . Dinner and overnight stay at Gayatri Anwalkheda.

ANWALKHEDA : Anwalkheda village is the birthplace of Gurudev , Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya . It is about 12 miles from Agra. Gurudev built an Inter College for girls and a hospital in this village. It is now being developed by the All World Gayatri Pariwar as a model village under its Movement for the Creation of Ideal Villages ( Adarsh Gram Teerth Yojana ). Apart from being a place for pilgrimage for the devotees, this center is spreading the Yug Nirman Mission ’s rural development and social engineering projects.

Leave early morning for Janki Chatti from where a trek leads you to your first destination of Chardham yatra. A 6 kms trek via Hanuman Chatti and Phool Chatti invigorates an enthralling trip. On reaching the holy shrine, take a dip in Garam Kund and perform Puja at holy Temple dedicated to Yamunotri Ji. Hanuman Chatti, Surya Kund, Yamunotri Temple and Divya Shila are the main attractions here. Drive back to Barkot from Janki Chatti the very same day.

Yamunotri Weather – In summer the maximum temp is 18 degrees and the minimum is 10 degrees celsius. The days are pleasantly cool but the nights are cold.

DAY 07 : GUPTKASHI – KEDARNATH (30KMS BY ROAD & 14 KMS TREK ONE WAY)

By Helicopter: Morning our driver will transfer you your prebook Helipad. When you return back our car will drop you at Hotel for rest.

By Trek: Though it is difficult to go up and down from Sonprayag on the same day by trek. But it can be done if you take ponies or helicopter while going to Kedarnath. Day 08: KEDARNATH - GUPTKASHI (30KMS BY ROAD & 14KMS TREK ONE WAY)

Kedarnath Weather – Due to its high altitude the weather in Kedarnath remains cold for most part of the year. CHARDHAM TOURIST INSTRUCTION

Any sightseeing done other than mentioned in the itinerary will be an additional charge directly payable to the Driver.

Lakhamandal :is an ancient Hindu temple complex, situated in the Jaunsar-Bawar region of Dehradun district in the Uttarakhand. The temple is dedicated to lord Shiva. This temple is popular among the Shakti Cult, who believe that a visit to this temple shrine will end their misfortunes.

Triyuginarayan Temple : is a Hindu temple located in the Triyuginarayan village in Rudraprayg in Uttarakhand. The ancient temple is dedicated to god Vishnu. Its fame is credited to the legend of god Shiva’s marriage to goddess Parvati witnessed by Vishnu at this venue and is thus a popular pilgrimage centre. A special feature of this temple is a perpetual fire, that burns in front of the temple. The flame is believed to burn from the times of the divine marriage. Thus, the temple is also known as Akhand Dhuni temple.

Chopta : is a small region of meadows and evergreen forest area which is a part of kedarnath wildlife sanctuary located in Uttarakhand state, India and a base for trekking to Tungnath, third temple of Panch Kedar, which lies 3.5 kilometres (2.2 miles) away. Located at a distance of 1.5 kilometres (0.93 miles) from Tungnath is Chandrashila, a rising to over 4,000 metres (13,000 ft).

Tungnath : is the highest Shiva temple in the world and is the highest of the five Panch Kedar temples located in the mountain range of Tunganath in Rudraprayag district, in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. The Tunganath (literal meaning: Lord of the peaks) mountains form the Mandakini and Alaknanda river valleys. Located at an altitude of 3,680 m (12,073 ft), and just below the peak of Chandrashila, Tungnath temple is the highest Hindu shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is believed to be 5000 years old and is the third (Tritiya Kedar) in the pecking order of the Panch Kedars. It has a rich legend linked to the Pandavas, heroes of the Mahabharata epic.

Auli : is a ski destination in Chamoli district in the Himalayan mountains of Uttarakhand, India. Auli, also known as Auli Bugyal, in Garhwali, which means "meadow", is located at an elevation of 2,500 metres (8,200 ft) to 3,050 metres (10,010 ft) above sea level. After the creation of the state of Uttarakhand, formerly part of Uttar Pradesh, Auli was marketed as a tourist destination. Auli lies on the way to the Hindu pilgrimage destination of Badrinath. It is surrounded by coniferous and oak forests, with a panoramic view of the peaks of the Himalayas. The slopes are intended for both professional skiers and novices. The Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam Limited (GMVNL) a state govt agency which takes care of this resort, and Uttarakhand Tourism Department conduct winter sports competitions at Auli to encourage skiing in India. It has a 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) cable car, a chairlift and a ski lift, along with a maintained trek route. There is a training facility of Indo-Tibetan Border Police. A small Hindu temple connected with the Hindu epic the Ramayan is also present.

• he company reserves the right, without assigning any reason, to cancel, advance, reschedule, over-fly or delay the commencement or continuance of the flight without incurring any liability in damages or otherwise to the passangers or any person on any ground whatsoever. The company reserves the right to refuse to carry any person whom it considers unfit for travel or what in the opinion of the company may constitute risk to the aircraft or to the person on board.

•  Same day passangers reporting will be in the morning time from 05:30 AM to 08:00 AM as informed and for night halt passengers reporting will be after 10 : 30 Hrs only and their slots will be as informed as Sitapur office.

For same day return you will be given 60-90 minutes at Shri Kedarnath ji.

Same day passangers would be given preference over night halt and one way passangers.

The travel document issued by the company shall be subjected to the rules of cancellation as follows.

(a)If ticket is cancelled by more than 72 hrs then 15 % of ticket cost will be deducted.

(b)If ticket is cancelled within 24 to 72 hrs then 50 % of ticket cost will be deducted.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITION:

• Rates mentioned above are valid for Indian nationals only until and unless specified along with quotation.

• The quotations are given without holding any confirmed reservations either in the airlines or in the hotels. Once the quotation is accepted by the guest and advance amount is deposited either in Cheque / cash to process the reservation, the booking is processed at our end. In case we are unable to get the confirmations then the deposited amount shall be refunded to the guest. Once given confirmation then full and final payment should be made either in cash or draft at the time when all the travel documents are delivered to the guest. For the packages which are booked under our Airline Group Packages the airline tickets might be delivered 2 days before the departure of the group.

• Base category rooms will be booked in Hotels until and unless specified in the quotation. In case the rooms are not available in selected hotel, rooms shall be booked in similar hotel or higher category rooms where you had to paid the differences.

• Any date amendments in the air tickets will be considered as cancellation only and new tickets are issued under new applicable fare at the time of issuance of ticket and cancellation charges are applicable for the cancelled tickets as per airline policy.

• Any amendments in the date or itinerary are to be intimated us in writing and amended confirmation depends on the availability of given hotels on requested dates. Cancellation policy shall be applicable in such case.

• In a tour package, no refund shall be made for unutilized services. It is on guest’s discretion whether to take service or not.

• Please carry your valid Identity proof card (passport in case of International travel) containing your photograph as it is required at the airport and during check in at hotels. Pan card is not a valid identity proof so please don’t carry that with you.

Leave early morning for Janki Chatti from where a trek leads you to your first destination of Chardham yatra. A 6 kms trek via Hanuman Chatti and Phool Chatti invigorates an enthralling trip. On reaching the holy shrine, take a dip in Garam Kund and perform Puja at holy Temple dedicated to Yamunotri Ji. Hanuman Chatti, Surya Kund, Yamunotri Temple and Divya Shila are the main attractions here. Drive back to Barkot from Janki Chatti the very same day. Overnight stay at Barkot.

Yamunotri Weather – In summer the maximum temp is 18 degrees and the minimum is 10 degrees celsius. The days are pleasantly cool but the nights are cold.

Early morning breakfast at hotel and drive to Gangotri. Nestled in the magnificent Garhwal Himalayas, Gangotri is set at an altitude of 3048 m. Upon arrival at Gangotri take a holy dip in the sacred river Ganges which is also called Bhagirathi at its origin. Visit the Gangotri Temple. The 18th century's temple dedicated to Goddess Ganga is located near a sacred stone where King Bhagirathi worshipped Lord Shiva. Ganga is believed to have touched earth at this spot. The temple is an exquisite 20 ft. high structure made of white granite. After performing Pooja Late afternoon drive back to Uttarkashi. Dinner & Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.

Gangotri Weather – The maximum temperature during summer can go up to 20° Celsius. Summer nights can get cooler with a minimum temperature of 10° Celsius. Light woolen clothes are required while visiting Gangotri during summer. Winter season is very chilly in Gangotri. Gangotri will be covered in sheets of snow during winter. Pilgrim centers remains closed throughout winter due to heavy snow falls.

Morning after breakfast, drive to Guptkashi via Moolgarh & Lambgoan. Enroute you can see the beautiful river Mandakini at Tilwara. The Mandakini river comes from Kedarnath, drive alongside the river to reach Guptakashi, visit Ardh Narishwar Temple in Guptakashi. Check into the hotel arrival in Guptakashi. Overnight stay at Guptakashi.

By Trek: Though it is difficult to go up and down from Sonprayag on the same day by trek. But it can be done if you take ponies or helicopter while going to Kedarnath. Lakhamandal : is an ancient Hindu temple complex, situated in the Jaunsar-Bawar region of Dehradun district in the Uttarakhand. The temple is dedicated to lord Shiva. This temple is popular among the Shakti Cult, who believe that a visit to this temple shrine will end their misfortunes.

Triyuginarayan Temple : is a Hindu temple located in the Triyuginarayan village in Rudraprayg in Uttarakhand. The ancient temple is dedicated to god Vishnu. Its fame is credited to the legend of god Shiva’s marriage to goddess Parvati witnessed by Vishnu at this venue and is thus a popular pilgrimage centre. A special feature of this temple is a perpetual fire, that burns in front of the temple. The flame is believed to burn from the times of the divine marriage. Thus, the temple is also known as Akhand Dhuni temple.

Chopta : is a small region of meadows and evergreen forest area which is a part of kedarnath wildlife sanctuary located in Uttarakhand state, India and a base for trekking to Tungnath, third temple of Panch Kedar, which lies 3.5 kilometres (2.2 miles) away. Located at a distance of 1.5 kilometres (0.93 miles) from Tungnath is Chandrashila, a rising to over 4,000 metres (13,000 ft).

Tungnath : is the highest Shiva temple in the world and is the highest of the five Panch Kedar temples located in the mountain range of Tunganath in Rudraprayag district, in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. The Tunganath (literal meaning: Lord of the peaks) mountains form the Mandakini and Alaknanda river valleys. Located at an altitude of 3,680 m (12,073 ft), and just below the peak of Chandrashila, Tungnath temple is the highest Hindu shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is believed to be 5000 years old and is the third (Tritiya Kedar) in the pecking order of the Panch Kedars. It has a rich legend linked to the Pandavas, heroes of the Mahabharata epic.

Auli : is a ski destination in Chamoli district in the Himalayan mountains of Uttarakhand, India. Auli, also known as Auli Bugyal, in Garhwali, which means "meadow", is located at an elevation of 2,500 metres (8,200 ft) to 3,050 metres (10,010 ft) above sea level. After the creation of the state of Uttarakhand, formerly part of Uttar Pradesh, Auli was marketed as a tourist destination. Auli lies on the way to the Hindu pilgrimage destination of Badrinath. It is surrounded by coniferous and oak forests, with a panoramic view of the peaks of the Himalayas. The slopes are intended for both professional skiers and novices. The Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam Limited (GMVNL) a state govt agency which takes care of this resort, and Uttarakhand Tourism Department conduct winter sports competitions at Auli to encourage skiing in India. It has a 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) cable car, a chairlift and a ski lift, along with a maintained trek route. There is a training facility of Indo-Tibetan Border Police. A small Hindu temple connected with the Hindu epic the Ramayan is also present.

· The company reserves the right, without assigning any reason, to cancel, advance, reschedule, over-fly or delay the commencement or continuance of the flight without incurring any liability in damages or otherwise to the passangers or any person on any ground whatsoever. The company reserves the right to refuse to carry any person whom it considers unfit for travel or what in the opinion of the company may constitute risk to the aircraft or to the person on board.

· Same day passangers reporting will be in the morning time from 05:30 AM to 08:00 AM as informed and for night halt passengers reporting will be after 10 : 30 Hrs only and their slots will be as informed as Sitapur office.

· For same day return you will be given 60-90 minutes at Shri Kedarnath ji.

· Same day passangers would be given preference over night halt and one way passangers.

· The travel document issued by the company shall be subjected to the rules of cancellation as follows.

(a)If ticket is cancelled by more than 72 hrs then 15 % of ticket cost will be deducted.

(b)If ticket is cancelled within 24 to 72 hrs then 50 % of ticket cost will be deducted.

• The quotations are given without holding any confirmed reservations either in the airlines or in the hotels. For the packages which are booked under our Airline Group Packages the airline tickets might be delivered 2 days before the departure of the group.

• Base category rooms will be booked in Hotels until and unless specified in the quotation. In case the rooms are not available in selected hotel, rooms shall be booked in similar hotel or higher category rooms where you had to paid the differences.

• Any date amendments in the air tickets will be considered as cancellation only and new tickets are issued under new applicable fare at the time of issuance of ticket and cancellation charges are applicable for the cancelled tickets as per airline policy.

• Any amendments in the date or itinerary are to be intimated us in writing and amended confirmation depends on the availability of given hotels on requested dates. Cancellation policy shall be applicable in such case.

• In a tour package, no refund shall be made for unutilized services. It is on guest’s discretion whether to take service or not.

• Please carry your valid Identity proof card (passport in case of International travel) containing your photograph as it is required at the airport and during check in at hotels. Pan card is not a valid identity proof so please don’t carry that with you.
