Macaulay2 Day will introduce the participants to one of the most used computer algebra systems in our area of mathematics.

There will be tutorials in the morning followed by discussion after lunch.

Present will be several experts from the M2internals group who will give tutorials and lead the discussion:

• Michael Burr (Clemson U)

• Tim Duff (U Washington)

• Dan Grayson (one of the authors of Macaulay2)

• Doug Torrance (Piedmont U)

It is a good idea to either (attempt to) install Macaulay2 on your laptop or familiarize yourself with the web interface provided at https://www.unimelb-macaulay2.cloud.edu.au globally and at https://macaulay2.math.gatech.edu when on Georgia Tech campus.
