Program a mathematical application using numpy (linear optimization or k-means clustering).

Week7: Lessons 15,16 (Dictionary Object and Strings)

Finish the hangman game (Lsn 16) ORCreate two functions (Lsn 15) - one that reads data from a text or csv and stores the data in a dictionary AND one that writes data from a dictionary to a csv or text. Completely document both of your functions and give the user the option for file type.

Week8: Lessons 17,18,19 (DataFrames and Series - pandas)

Task 1: (1) Put together a "cheat sheet" for yourself that will assist you when working with dataframes. You can use MS Word, Powerpoint, Excel - be creative in how it is designed. (2) To go along with this "cheat sheet" make a Jupyter Notebook that demonstrates all of the code in the sheet.

Week9: Lessons 20,21 (Data visualization - matplotlib)

Task 1: (1) Put together a "cheat sheet" for yourself that will assist you when working with matplotlib. You can use MS Word, Powerpoint, Excel - be creative in how it is designed. (2) To go along with this "cheat sheet" make a Jupyter Notebook that demonstrates all of the code in the sheet.

From the risk game developed in lesson 26, assume the attacker starts with 15 armies and the defender has anywhere from 1 to 30 armies, find the probabilities that the attacker or defender wins the overall war assuming they are playing the optimal strategy (attacker attacks with 3, defender defends with 2 until they cannot anymore). At what point is it 50/50? Do your results match Figure 1 from: https://www4.stat.ncsu.edu/~jaosborn/research/RISK.pdf ?
