My research lies at the intersection of industrial organization, agrifood systems, and the bioeconomy. My theoretical and empirical work examines how market structure shapes efficiency and welfare in different market and policy environments. I am particularly interested in the organization and performance of modern bio-based supply chains and the implications for producers, consumers, and policy. I currently serve as an Associate Editor of American Journal of Agricultural Economics and Food Policy.
