MA Clipboard Toolkit is a browser extension that helps users select and copy cells from Manhattan Active grids, Cognos reports, and supported standard HTML tables. The extension can also format copied values as comma-separated lists, row constructors, and SQL IN clauses.
MA Clipboard Toolkit may process the following information locally on the user’s device:
Text contained in cells that the user selects from a webpage table or application grid.
Clipboard text that the user asks the extension to format.
User-initiated interactions required for cell selection, including Alt-and-drag selection, mouse position during selection, copy commands, formatting shortcuts, and the Escape key.
The active tab and frame location needed to apply the cell-selection feature to webpages and dynamically loaded report frames.
Local preferences, such as whether duplicate values should be removed.
Temporary operational status, such as whether a clipboard action succeeded.
Selected cell content, clipboard text, and user interactions are used only to provide the extension’s user-facing features:
Selecting cells from supported grids and tables.
Copying selected cell values.
Converting copied values into comma-separated lists.
Creating quoted row constructors.
Creating SQL IN clauses.
Removing blank or duplicate values when requested.
Applying the selection engine to supported webpage and report frames.
Selected webpage content and clipboard text are processed locally on the user’s device.
MA Clipboard Toolkit does not transmit selected values, clipboard content, browsing activity, or user interactions to the developer or any external server.
The extension does not maintain a history of copied or formatted values.
MA Clipboard Toolkit does not:
Collect personal information on an external server.
Sell user information.
Share user information with third parties.
Use analytics services.
Display advertising.
Use tracking technologies.
Create user profiles.
Require a user account.
Use information for creditworthiness or lending purposes.
Use information for purposes unrelated to its cell-selection, copying, and formatting features.
No user information is transferred to the developer or third parties.
MA Clipboard Toolkit requires access to supported webpages so users can select cells from Manhattan Active grids, Cognos reports, and standard HTML tables.
The extension may access the active page and its embedded frames to identify supported cells, highlight the cells selected by the user, and copy their text.
The extension does not create, retain, or transmit a browsing-history profile.
Clipboard access occurs after a user action, such as:
Opening the extension popup.
Clicking a formatting button.
Pressing a formatting shortcut.
Copying selected table or grid cells.
Clipboard text is read, formatted locally, and written back to the clipboard so the user can paste the result.
The extension may store settings such as the Remove Duplicates preference using browser extension storage.
The extension may also store temporary session messages indicating whether an operation succeeded or failed.
Selected table content and clipboard values are not stored as permanent history.
MA Clipboard Toolkit does not download or execute remote code.
All executable JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and image resources are included within the extension package distributed through the Chrome Web Store.
Because no selected website content or clipboard information is transmitted to the developer or third parties, this information remains on the user’s device during extension processing.
MA Clipboard Toolkit does not retain selected table content or clipboard values on an external server.
Local extension preferences can be removed by uninstalling the extension or clearing the extension’s stored data through browser settings.
MA Clipboard Toolkit’s use of information received from browser APIs complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Information is used only to provide and improve the extension’s user-facing cell-selection, copying, and formatting functionality.
MA Clipboard Toolkit is a general productivity tool and is not designed to collect information from children.
This privacy policy may be updated if the extension’s features or data-handling practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
