Environmental Mineralogy

• We use both analytical chemistry and molecular modeling techniques  to

  - understand the role of minerals in geochemical cycling of trace elements

  - apply mineralogical principles for addressing environmental problems

• Our ultimate goal is to suggest potential of naturally occurring minerals for environmental remediation.
