First period (P1) from October to December is rganized as follow:
· Upon arrival, students are assigned (by choice) in groups to hospital services where they will audit the service in which they will be immersed for two weeks. This design thinking phase will be supervised by Schoolab (http://theschoolab.com/) and will last three weeks. At the end of this phase, each group will have a specific project on which the evaluations of the theoretical courses will be based. In addition, the implementation of a solution to this project will have to be proposed and studied in particular its commercial aspect and will be evaluated at the end of the period P1
· Statistics and computer vision: The content of this course will be adapted to the profile of the students. Two parallel courses could be envisaged with different teachers, one for non-scientists and a more advanced course for students already familiar with statistics and signal analysis and processing.
· A specific course on the scientific aspects of biotechnologies, adapted to the profile of the students.
· Drug discovery process and antibody therapy : Jean-Philippe Annereau et Luis Briseno-Roa (Co founder of MedetIA and former Directors and Deputy Director of Alexion Research France)
· Health economics. Rosalind Bell-Aldeghi (MdC faculté d’économie et de droit de Paris Descartes).
· Health legislation.
· Deeptech ecosystem, fundraising, HR issues, feedback from successful star-ups. Robert Marino (Co-founder & director at Deeptech Founders) as part of the partnership with DeepTech Funders.
· Entrepreneurial finance and legal management of innovation (creation, IP, business plan, etc). Nicolas Fontaine (Attorney, Fontaine Avocats)
The second period (P2) from January to September is organised as follow:
· Ethical and industrial aspects of entrepreneurship.
Two options possible for students :
· A classic internship in a structure related to health entrepreneurship (incubator, start-up, etc...)
· The « Imagine bioentrepreneurs launchpad » organised by Imagine institute.
Students will be encouraged to apply for the Chair of innovation management and healthcare performance by Gregory Katz to complete their training.
