Biography
Md Sajid is a Translational Research Fellow at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore, India, where he is working on translating AI-driven healthcare technologies into clinically deployable systems. He recently submitted his Ph.D. thesis in the Department of Mathematics at IIT Indore under the supervision of Prof. M. Tanveer in the OPTIMAL Research Lab. He received the M.Sc. degree in Mathematics from IIT Delhi, India, in 2021 and the B.Sc. (Hons.) degree in Mathematics from St. Xavier's College, Ranchi, India, in 2019. He also serves as Technical Lead – AI & Medical Data Systems at PraxiaTech Pvt. Ltd., leading the development of AI-powered healthcare solutions.

His recent work spans interpretable medical AI, generative diffusion models, multimodal learning, and translational AI systems for clinical decision support.
His research focuses on Machine Learning, Computational Intelligence, Randomized Neural Networks, Graph Neural Networks, Medical Vision-Language Models, Explainable AI, Foundation Models, and AI for Healthcare, with a particular emphasis on Alzheimer's disease diagnosis using multimodal neuroimaging and EEG. His research has also led to multiple patents and the development of AI platforms for neurodegenerative disease diagnosis. Sajid actively contributes to the research community as a reviewer for more than 15 leading journals and conferences, including IEEE TPAMI, IEEE TNNLS, IEEE TFS, IEEE TKDE, IEEE TCYB, IEEE TII, IEEE TSMC, IEEE TETCI, Information Fusion, Pattern Recognition, Neural Networks, Scientific Reports (Nature Portfolio), NeurIPS, ICML, AISTATS, AAAI, ICASSP, ICPR, and IJCNN.
