Virtual Panel Initiative

In the fall of 2021, the Marketing & Outreach Committee facilitated several virtual panel sessions featuring NJ Academic librarians. The sessions provided NJ High School students with a general orientation of the academic library. Following the successful pilot program, in the fall of 2022 M & O offered a series of virtual panels featuring Subject Specialist Librarians. These sessions afforded students an opportunity to hear from librarians who specialize in supporting specific subject areas and to learn more about the types of research assignments they will encounter and the support available from the academic library.
