m-Local Indicator ("the App") is a Mumbai local train timetable application. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains how we handle your information.
We do not collect any personal information. The App works 100% offline. No account creation, login, or registration is required.
The following data is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to any server:
App preferences (default line, dark mode setting, time format)
Favourite routes you save
All train timetable data is bundled within the App and sourced from the official Indian Railways timetable (W.E.F. 19 February 2026). This data is stored locally and does not require an internet connection to access.
The App uses Google AdMob to display banner advertisements. Google AdMob may collect and use certain device information for ad personalization, including:
Device identifiers (Advertising ID)
IP address
General location data (based on IP)
App usage data
You can opt out of personalized advertising in your device's settings under Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization.

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App is a general-purpose transit timetable tool suitable for all ages.
Since we do not collect or transmit any personal data, there is no risk of data breaches from our end. All user preferences are stored locally on your device using standard Android storage mechanisms.
You can clear all locally stored preferences and favourites by clearing the App's data in your device settings, or by uninstalling the App.
Train schedules displayed in this App are based on official timetables and may not reflect real-time changes, delays, cancellations, or megablock schedules. Platform numbers are estimated based on track infrastructure and may not be accurate at all stations. Always verify information from official station display boards before boarding.
This App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Indian Railways, Western Railway, Central Railway, or any government entity.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the App and on this page with an updated date.
