Mr. Moddassir Khan Nayeem is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in the Department of Mechanical, Aerospace, and Industrial Engineering at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), where he also works as a graduate research assistant (GRA).
He received an M.Sc. degree in Industrial Engineering from Pusan National University in Busan, South Korea, and a B.Sc. degree in Industrial and Production Engineering from Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh. During his M.Sc. studies, he worked as a GRA at the Engineering and Computational Optimization Laboratory for two years.
Mr. Moddassir has diverse experience in academia. He has served as a lecturer at two universities in Bangladesh: the Military Institute of Science and Technology, and the American International University-Bangladesh. Additionally, Mr. Moddassir is an editorial board member of two international journals and a reviewer for reputed journals, such as the Journal of Applied Soft Computing. He has several publications and manuscripts in the areas of operations research, supply chain management, and humanitarian logistics. His research interests include operations research, machine learning, semiconductor supply chain resilience, network optimization, transportation, logistics, and inventory management.
