Personal Data: We collect your shop name and phone number to create your unique Shop ID.
Financial Data: We process M-Pesa transaction details through our payment partner (PayHero) to update your wallet balance. We do not store your M-Pesa PIN.
Inventory & Sales: Data regarding your products and sales is stored locally on your device and synced to our secure servers for backup.
2. Use of Information We use the collected data to:
Facilitate M-Pesa STK Push requests.
Provide real-time inventory and sales reports.
Sync your data across devices using your unique Shop ID.
3. Permissions M-Bizna requires access to:
Camera: For barcode scanning and product photography.
Biometrics: To secure your financial and customer data.
Bluetooth: To connect to thermal printers for receipts.
4. Data Security We use industry-standard encryption (SSL/TLS) and Google Firebase's secure infrastructure to protect your business data. Local data is protected by your device's native security.
5. Third-Party Services We share necessary payment data with PayHero Kenya and Safaricom to process transactions. These partners are compliant with Kenya's Data Protection Act.
