Currently, I'm working as a graduate research assistant at TxACE, UT Dallas. My work is focused on the design of efficient reflectarray antennas and high frequency electronic circuits for next generation communications and imaging applications.

Research Assistant

Department of Electrical Engineering, Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Lahore, Pakistan (July 2016 - Present)

I have been working as a research assistant with Dr. Wasif Tanveer Khan at The Department of Electrical Engineering, Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Pakistan. My work is focused on the design of ultra-wideband & mmWave Antennas, high frequency electronic circuits, design & testing of RF front end modules for a wideband software defined radio (SDR). My responsibilities include simulation, design and integration of various RF front end modules for an indigenous SDR and designing ultra-wideband antennas for 5G, Automotives, IoT and wearable applications.

Research Associate

Department of Electrical Engineering, Namal College, Mianwali, Pakistan (Nov 2014 - Jun 2016)

As a research associate, I have worked with Dr. Jalaluddin Qureshi on three research based projects on the design of bandwidth efficient forward error correction schemes for wireless networking. My key responsibilities included designing simulators for different network coding/ index coding algorithms and implement newly designed algorithms on TinyOS based testbed of wireless sensor motes.

Engineer Intern (EI)

Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL), Multan, Pakistan (Jan 2014 - Nov 2014)

During this internship, I worked as Transmission Engineer (EI) at PTCL. During this period I worked on OFS (Optical Fiber Systems) and OMC (Operations, Management & Control) at Central PTCL Exchange. My major responsibilities included monitoring the local optical fiber network, detection and troubleshooting of general faults.

Research Assistant

COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan (Sep 2013 - Jan 2014)

I voluntarily participated in a project investigating how electromagnetic waves are affected by the properties of the atmosphere. This project was supervised by Dr. Khurram Alimgeer. My major responsibilities were to perform statistical analysis on the tropospheric data using MATLAB and construct mathematical models of radio refractivity.
