General Updates and Information

  • All students are able to purchase school shirts at the beginning of August

  • 9th grade school shirts

  • available for purchase August 8-August 23, 10am - 1pm

  • 10th, 11th and 12th grade school shirts

  • available for purchase August 17-August 23, 10am - 1pm

  • School t-shirts are $13

  • School PE shirts are $11

  • School PE shorts are $11

  • School sweatshirts are $16 (and will be available for sale in September)

  • Students can not use old school logos on uniforms (blue sweaters and polos)

  • All students are charged an annual $180 for school fees

  • In order to provide students with basic academic materials we require a Student Activity fee of $180 for the entire school year. This fee covers student consumables including chromebooks, locks, workbooks, handbooks, lab and demonstration equipment, technology usage fee, printing paper, testing fee, postage, mailings, and expenses related to student activities.

  • All students are required to use their Noble-issued chromebook and charger

  • 9th grade and incoming transfer students will receive their chromebook on August 23 during 9th Grade Orientation

  • 10th, 11th and 12th grade students whose chromebooks are broken or lost can come to campus to order replacements on August 17th from 10am - 1pm. Replacement chromebooks are $150, and replacement chargers are $25; students can charge equipment to their student accounts.

In June, our head of schools announced a few policy changes that are effective for this upcoming school year. These are network-wide changes are not unique to Butler. As a campus, we do NOT have the autonomy to deviate from these policies.

Policy Changes

Cell phone policy

  • In collaboration with Noble Schools, student cell phones may not be visible or audible throughout the entire school day, from the first bell to the last bell considering the following rationale: 1) phones can be a significant barrier to rich learning, 2) phones can be a significant barrier to physical and psychological safety in school, 3) phones can be a significant barrier to community building

Dress code shifts

  • Tops and Outerwear

  1. Students must wear color coded Butler branded tops

  1. 9th grade - black

  2. 10th grade - blue

  3. 11th grade - gray

  4. 12th grade - orange

  1. Students may only wear unaltered Butler or Noble-branded crewneck sweaters

  2. Students must wear their school ID around the neck at all times when on campus

  • Bottoms

  1. Students must wear solid black bottoms (e.g. solid black pants, leggings, skirts, sweats/joggers, jeans).

  2. Jeans may be ripped provided adherence to the expectations listed above.

  3. Bottoms may have one logo that must be minimal in size (e.g. solid black joggers with a small Adidas, Nike, North Face logo)

  • Shoes

  1. Students must wear closed-toe shoes (e.g. gym shoes, Crocs)

  2. Slides, flip flops or sandals are not permitted on campus

  • Head Coverings

  1. Students may not wear hats, durags, bonnets or balaclavas/ski masks

  2. Hoodies and outerwear are not permitted in the building

  • PE Dress Code

  1. Students must be in an color coded Butler branded PE shirt

  2. Students must wear Butler branded PE shorts or joggers

  3. Students must wear gym shoes to enhance safety during physical activity

  4. Students may not wear jeans, skirts, dress pants, or open-toed shoes, Crocs, or slippers for PE (unless for religious purposes)
