I began teaching at the college level in 2018 at Lincoln University in Lincoln University, PA. Since the start of that appointment, I have adjuncted at multiple schools, mostly simultaneously. I have worked at Union County College in Cranford, NJ, followed by Rowan College of Burlington County in Mt. Laurel, NJ. Shortly after that, I began at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA and Holy Family University, also in Philadelphia, PA. Most recently I began teaching at Penn State at the Berks County campus. In all appointments I have taught English Composition though they are not all named that. I have also taught Public Speaking, and World Literature.
I love teaching. I love the relationships I get to build with my students. I learn more from them than they do from me...maybe. BUT what I want to do is teach the professoriate. I want to help those already teaching in higher education develop their skills on the various methodologies to teach across a multitude of learning styles. I want the professoriate to feel confident in their ability to effectively teach to those neurodivergent and neurotypical learners simultaneously. My goal is to educate the educators through a series of professional development seminars.
