Lyndale Guest House - Guesthouse

Lyndale Guest House is situated in Bellingham at the edge of the National Park overlooking the River North Tyne, renowned for Salmon, Trout and course fishing, yet only 100 yards from the village shops, pubs and restaurants.

The Lyndale Guest House is the perfect base for exploring the many delights of the area such as Kielder Water and Hadrian’s Wall, within ten miles of Lyndale.

We have a double and twin en-suite on the ground floor, as well as a double with a private bathroom and a single room with a shared bathroom in our dorma accessed via our unusual spiral staircase.

A four-course breakfast (including vegetarian) is served in our guest lounge with its beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. On arrival Tea & Biscuits are served on the terrace under the gazebo in the garden.

The area offers an array of activities for both the adventurous visitor and those who just wish to spend a while relaxing.

In Bellingham we have an 18 hole golf course and driving range, a 12th Century Church and Healing Well (just over our garden wall), a Heritage Centre and Carriages Tea Room at the original Station Yard, not to mention the beautiful Hareshaw Linn Waterfall.

Outside Bellingham a 20 minute drive will see you at Kielder Water Park which has many activities for the visitor as well as the famous Dark Skies Observatory.

Other activities include Cycling, Walking, Fishing, Bird-Watching and General Touring of a County rich in history.
