Construction of LYK Building started in 2011 under the supervision of the late Engr. Jaime Kudera. The building was completed and started housing students in 2013. The ground floor has commercial spaces. The boarding house is within walking distance to SLSU San Isidro Campus.

Main access to the second floor is by the central staircase at the front of the building. At the top of the stairs, the boarding house is divided into two wings. Each wing has its own CR and shower stalls. Laundry can be done at the back of the back of the building.

The building is owned by the descendants of the late Felipe and Augustina Yepes - long time residents of San Isidro.
