July 2026: A hot field season is underway! Lab members continue field work across silvopasture sites in South Carolina: measuring soil carbon fluxes, water quality, tree growth and forage production. Additionally, Gafar and Dr. O'Halloran presented on their silvopasture research at the Soil and Water Conservation Society International conference in St. Louis, MO.
June 2026: 8 Undergraduate students explored Montana rangelands with Drs. O'Halloran, Aguerre and Jachowski.
May 2026: Justin Robbins finished his comprehensive exams and has progressed to PhD candidate!
April 2026: Several Creative Inquiry undergrad student groups presented their work from this semester at the Clemson University FoCI Poster Forum

March 2026: Creative Inquiry students accompanied Drs. O'Halloran and Jachowksi to several livestock grazing operations to see examples of regenerative agriculture in the Carolinas.
