[04/22/2025] We released a new preprint on arxiv. A joint work with Prof. A. Quaini, Dr. M. Girfoglio, and Prof. G. Rozza, we explored different solutions, and their transitions to different dynamical regimes, of the two-layer quasi-geostrophic equations and used them, together with randomized POD and data-driven techniques, to develop an extremely efficient ROM for stratified geophysical flows.
[03/20/2025] I successfully defended my dissertation. I owe deep gratitude to my committee members: Dr. Loic Cappanera, Dr. Min Wang, and Dr. Michele Girfoglio, and of course, to my advisor, Prof. Annalisa Quaini.
[02/05/2025] A new preprint on the mathematical modeling for particle transport in disordered systems is now available on: arxiv (Joint work with Prof. Editha Jose and Prof. Alvin Karlo Tapia)! Codes for the paper are available on github.
[01/08/25 - 01/11/25] Catch me at the Joint Mathematical Meetings 2025 happening at Seattle, Washington! I'll be talking about my work on reduced order modeling and how we can pull concepts from different fields to make the construction of ROMs more efficient.
