Do I need to do dancing, singing and libretto auditions?
It depends on what part you are auditioning for. Please see the table on the Character List page.

Are the songs in the same key as the cast recording?
Not necessarily. Please use the backing tracks provided on this site to practice in the correct key.

Will/can I use backing tracks in the actual audition?
No, there will be a pianist at the audition.

The backing tracks are slower/faster than I’d like
You’ll be able to ask the pianist at the audition to play at your preferred speed. They will also follow you for any bits you want to do differently to the recording.

What if  I am not available for the audition dates?
We always try to cast every main part on the audition day but may be able to see people wanting to join the ensemble at a later date.

Can I send in a video audition?
Unfortunately, we will not be accepting video auditions
