THE LEHIGH VALLEY SENIOR ALL-STAR CLASSIC IS THE PREMIER ALL-STAR BASKETBALL EVENT

IN LEHIGH VALLEY FOR HIGH SCHOOL BOYS AND GIRLS. 

Background

Every March, the Lehigh Valley's best seniors compete in four games to showcase their talent. Many of these players have continued their playing careers in college and some at the professional level.  The community comes out to watch and support the All-Stars who are coached by the seasons outstanding coaches.   

Selection Process

The 40+ Lehigh Valley high school head coaches nominate up to three seniors.  A Lehigh Valley media selection committee meets to select the top 12 players from each region. A total of 96 all-stars, both boys and girls, represent each class.  This same selection committee honors eight coaches to lead teams from each region.

Scholar Athlete Awards

Each senior all-star is eligible to apply for one of two $2,000 scholarships.  Scholarships are presented to one boy and one girl scholar-athlete to be used for their continuing education. Each candidate is evaluated on his or her basketball achievements, academic achievements, extracurricular activities and citizenship.
