Laurent Vilanova
Full Professor of Finance
Université Lyon 2, Coactis
In recent years, my main area of research has been on behavioral approaches in corporate finance, entrepreneurship, and strategy. I study the implications of decision-makers' cognitive biases and personality traits on the behavior of entrepreneurs, CEOs, and financial investors, as well as on corporate performance. The second axis of my research deals with stakeholder theory and organization theory. The third axis of my research investigates corporate debt restructurings and the resolution of financial distress.
