Exercise - Being active is so important for stress management! Find time to be active doing something you enjoy.
Nature - Get outside!! Go for a walk. Nap in a hammock. Have a family campfire. Go fishing. Go star gazing.
Gratitude - Practice gratitude. Keep a gratitude journal listing 1-3 things a day you are grateful for. Tell someone in your life you are thankful for them. Take a moment to notice something you are thankful for multiple times a day.
Writing - Journal, write poetry or short stories, letters, postcards, etc.
Bake/Cook - Cook a meal for your family. Bake something you've never made before.
Kindness/Service to Others - Call your grandparents. Send a thank you note to a healthcare worker. Mow your neighbor's yard.
Humor - Find something to do that makes you laugh. Call a friend or watch a funny show.
Time with friends and family - Spend time with your family at home. Set up zoom gatherings with your friends. Host a zoom talent show or Yahtzee game.
Take a hot bath or shower.
TURN OFF THE TECHNOLOGY! Take a break from screens, zoom, school work, social media and have some time to regroup.
