Day 1 & 2 | RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL

From the sands of the Ipanema Beach to the top of Corcovado Mountain, you and your partner will be awestruck by one of the world’s most unmistakable landmarks watching over the city: Christ the Redeemer, one of the Seven Wonders of the world. Rio is the perfect destination to reignite the fire and fulfill your wildest desires.

Day 2 & 3 | COPACABANA, BRAZIL

LARGEST PARTY ON THE PLANET

Passengers aboard the Desire Rio de Janeiro Cruise will have the pleasure of joining us off the shores of the world-famous Copacabana  for a sensual New Year’s treat. Spanning 4 km, this stretch of sand is renowned for both its beauty and vibrancy.

With over two million partygoers attending each year, Copacabana really comes alive for New Year’s Eve as it hosts one of the largest parties on the planet. From aboard, you will witness visitors dancing and singing along the shore as spectacular fireworks are set off over the water.

IMPORTANT NOTE: We will not be disembarking in this port, we will be enjoying the festivities, fireworks, special New Year’s Eve dinner, show, and performances from the ship. We will be navigating at 2:00 a.m, estimated to arrive in Parati at 1:00 p.m. on January 1, 2024.

Day 3 | PARATI, BRAZIL

LAND OF RICH EXPERIENCES

Trapped in a 300-year time warp, the entirety of this former gold rush town has been named a national historic monument. Its delightful Portuguese colonial architecture remains undisturbed, and nothing spoils the mood, not even traffic, as no cars are allowed in the old town center.

In the 17th century, it was one of the busiest and most important harbors on Brazil’s Atlantic coast, exporting gold from the interior. Follow the gold trail into the hinterlands, tour a sugar estate, or visit the Cachaça distillery, where they brew up the strong sugar cane liquor that is the key ingredient in the national cocktail: the Caipirinha.

Day 4 | ILHABELA, BRAZIL

CAPITAL OF SAILING

This beautiful island lives up to its name, and, today, belies its once lurid reputation as a hideout of smugglers and pirates. Where once failed coffee plantations replaced lush vegetation, the land has been reclaimed, and state park trails provide access to luscious green jungle, with numerous waterfalls where you can stop for a swim along the way. Divers will find great opportunities on some of the many shipwrecks off the coast

Day 6 & 7 | AT SEA

DAY 6

After six days at sea going wild and feeling free, here is our suggestion to recharge with some well-deserved relaxation: start out your day with breakfast in bed, followed by a visit to our full-service spa, where you can rejuvenate and recover as a couple. Once restored and ready to get back to business, meet our Playmakers on deck for more seductive surprises, lasting throughout the afternoon and evening until the sun rises.

DAY 7

There is so much to do during your second day at sea. Our onboard entertainment lineup is packed with additional activities and events for those who love to be seduced. Day 9 | BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA

So that all guests may fully enjoy the Desire Experience, Desire Cruises is committed to providing safe voyages. We ask you to respect the following guidelines throughout the cruise:

• For the comfort of all guests, we ask that you use appropriate attire in all restaurants and other public areas that are not clearly marked as clothing optional.

• Keeping the identity of our guests private is extremely important to us. For this reason, taking photos or videos in any of our ship’s clothing-optional areas (the pool on deck 9 and the tanning areas on decks 10 and 11) or in the Playroom is strictly prohibited. Taking photos is permitted in all other areas, just as long as you respect the other guests.

• Our playroom has been designed for sexual, erotic pleasure. We ask that you use this couples-only area to fulfill your intimate desires.

• Please treat all guests with utmost respect and remember the Golden Rule: NO means NO.

• Balance is important, some like to rest while others party, after midnight your fellow sailors would appreciate it if noise levels are kept to a minimum in our ship’s corridors.

• We have created an open-minded ambiance aboard our Desire Cruise; however, drug use will not be tolerated.

• Neither Desire Cruises nor Azamara Club Cruises will be held responsible for items left outside of your safety deposit box. Please be sure to place valuable items in the safe.

1. What is the Desire Concept?

• Desire provides an uninhibited and sophisticated clothing-optional concept (in designated areas) for couples (21+) looking to experience sensuality and freedom at sea, while enjoying cutting edge entertainment, provocative theme nights, exclusive workshops, and more…

2. What clothing-optional areas will be offered on board?

• For your onboard enjoyment, the pool deck and sun deck are clothing-optional areas. Just a friendly reminder: due to local laws and authorities, our staff will give orders for all guests to be clothed as we approach the different ports of call.

3. Is there a Playroom etiquette?

• Desire Cruises is firmly committed to maintaining our unique, couples-only atmosphere. For this reason, only couples will be allowed in the Playroom (no exceptions).

4. Is sex permitted in onboard public areas?

• The only onboard public area where sex is permitted is the Playroom. Sex will not be permitted in any other public area.

5. What is the minimum age requirement for Desire Cruises?

• Although the average age range of our guests is of 35-50 years of age, the minimum age to sail with us is 21.

6. What type of client profile will we find aboard Desire Cruises?

• Heterosexual couples that are looking to enjoy a sensual experience with their partner.

7. What is included with the final price of the cruise?

• Cabin pricing includes:

8. Is Wi-Fi available throughout the cruise?

• There are several Wi-Fi packages available, which may be contracted upon boarding.

9. Is smoking allowed on board?

• There is one designated smoking area available on board. Smoking is prohibited in all other areas.

10. Is bringing my own alcoholic beverages aboard permitted?

• Guests are prohibited from bringing alcoholic beverages onboard. Alcoholic beverages that are purchased in ports of call will be stored by the ship and delivered to passengers’ staterooms on the last day of sailing.

11. What alcoholic beverage packages are offered on board?

• The PREMIUM BEVERAGE PACKAGE is INCLUDED on the cruise; however, for a minimal fee you can upgrade to the Ultimate Beverage Package. These packages give you preferred spirits at a great value. It’s a win-win situation. By upgrading from the Premium Beverage Package (Included) to the Ultimate Beverage Package (+ $14.95 USD per person/per day) you will receive all liquor brands offered in both packages. Prices are subject to change.

12. Are drinks unlimited?

• Yes. Drinks are unlimited within the parameters of the responsible alcohol service guidelines.

13. What beverages are included on board?

• The PREMIUM BEVERAGE PACKAGE is INCLUDED on the cruise. For full details, please see EXTRA SERVICES/BEVERAGE PACKAGES on the website tool bar.

14. What specialty restaurants are available on board?

• There are two specialty restaurants: Prime C and Aqualina, both of which are complimentary for suite guests (Club World Owner’s Suites, Club Spa Suites, Club Ocean Suites, and Club Continent Suites). For all stateroom categories, there is a minimal cover charge per person/per seating.

15. What if I have dietary restrictions?

• The ship can accommodate most special dietary needs. Please submit your request in writing to our reservations department (e-mail: cruises3@original-group.com) no later than 80 days before sailing, so we can communicate this with the cruise line. Standard kosher-style menus are available on all voyages. On the day of boarding, please confirm your special dietary arrangements with the restaurant manager.

16. Do I need to make reservations to dine?

• To avoid disappointment, reservations are strongly recommended in Prime C & Aqualina; however, reservations are not required in other dining venues.

17. Is there assigned seating in dining rooms?

• No, seating is not assigned; guests can sit where they would like.

18. What is the dress code in the dining rooms?

• In all dining rooms, guests should follow a “cruise casual” dress code following good taste and common sense. Bare feet, tank tops, baseball caps, bathing suits, shorts, and jeans are not allowed in the main dining room or the two specialty restaurants. When dining at Windows Café, guests must wear footwear and a cover-up or shirt.

19. Are onboard staff members multilingual?

• Yes. The staff on board is not only multilingual, they are from all over the world; however, the principal spoken language onboard is English, and most signage will be found in English as well.

20. Is photography allowed onboard?

• Due to the nature of this cruise, and the fact that our guests’ privacy is of utmost importance to us, there is no photography allowed in clothing-optional areas, including, but not limited to, cameras, cellphones, video cameras, tablets, etc. We will have official staff that will be taking pictures of onboard events, the experience, and ambiance; however, no guest will be photographed unless the guests gives written permission.

21. What airport should we fly into and out of for the cruise?

• Rio de Janeiro/Galeão – Antonio Carlos Jobim International Airport, popularly known by its original name Galeão International Airport, is the main airport serving Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and the code to search for flights is GIG. This airport is located 23 km from Copacabana beach. The cruise port terminal is located roughly 17 km from the airport. For the return, Ministro Pistarini International Airport, also known as Ezeiza International Airport, is the outgoing airport. The airport is located approximately 35 km from the city center.
