If you want a lightweight, ultra-slim mat that folds away effortlessly for tight spaces and seasonal storage, choose Luxshiny Black Oxford Cloth; if you need a thicker, more substantial liner with a unique visual design to protect against heavy daily wear and pet messes, choose JyaorNew Car Trunk Mat.
• This pick is for the driver who needs a backup liner or someone storing gear in a vehicle with extremely limited cargo depth.
• This pick is for the owner who prioritizes long-term protection, scratch resistance, and a specific aesthetic over compact storage.
The Luxshiny Black Oxford Cloth mat is designed with a singular focus on efficiency and minimal intrusion. This makes it an ideal solution for vehicles where every millimeter of vertical clearance matters. Whether you are hauling camping gear, moving furniture, or simply carrying groceries, this liner protects the underlying carpet from dirt and spills without adding any noticeable bulk. The PU backing ensures the surface stays dry and easy to wipe down, while the material itself is resistant to tearing and breaking under normal use.
You should buy this product if you frequently need to remove your trunk mat entirely to store items in a garage, attic, or closet. Because it is so light and foldable, it takes up almost no space when not in use. It is also perfect for rideshare drivers or those who need a quick "throw-on" solution for a single trip to avoid ruining their interior with muddy boots or wet dog fur. The black color provides a neutral, professional look that blends seamlessly with most vehicle interiors, and the ability to cut it to size means you can customize the fit for odd-shaped trunks without buying expensive custom molds.
However, you should skip this option if you plan to drag heavy, sharp objects like lumber, tools, or large pet carriers across the floor regularly. The single-layer construction, while durable enough for dust and light spills, lacks the padding found in thicker mats. If your priority is sound dampening or preventing scratches from heavy metal edges, this ultra-thin design might feel too flimsy. It is a protective shield, not a shock absorber. If you live in an area with extreme weather and need a mat that can withstand being left outside or subjected to freezing temperatures without becoming brittle, the lighter materials here may not offer the same resilience as heavier, multi-layered alternatives.
The JyaorNew Car Trunk Mat stands out immediately because it brings a different philosophy to trunk protection: durability and style. It is crafted from high-quality polyester fabric that offers excellent resistance to deformation, meaning it won't bunch up or curl at the edges even after months of use. The Red Fly Agaric Mushroom print adds a splash of personality to your cargo area, distinguishing it from the sea of generic black mats. This is a product for the car enthusiast who treats their vehicle's interior as part of their personal space rather than just a utility box.

This mat is built for the active lifestyle. The non-slip textured backing grips the trunk floor firmly, keeping cargo stable during sudden stops or sharp turns. If you have pets, the water-repellent and stain-resistant properties make cleaning up muddy paws, spilled water bowls, or fur much easier than trying to vacuum a stock carpet. You can rinse the entire mat with a hose or throw it in the washing machine for a deep clean, a feature that speaks to its robust construction. It blocks sand, dust, food spills, and scratch marks effectively, providing a comprehensive barrier that lasts across all seasons.
You should consider this mat if you prioritize a secure fit and long-term wear resistance over portability. The flexible material adapts to various trunk shapes, but its primary advantage lies in its ability to handle abuse. It is thick enough to provide a slight buffer against heavy loads, though it is not intended for industrial-grade impact protection. However, be aware that its larger footprint and heavier weight mean it is less convenient to carry around. If you are someone who swaps mats between multiple cars or needs to stash the liner in a small glove compartment when not in use, this might feel cumbersome compared to the sleek alternative.
• Best for tight spaces and portability → Luxshiny Black Oxford Cloth. Its near-zero thickness and light weight allow it to be folded into a tiny package, fitting easily into bags or tight storage bins.
• Best for heavy-duty protection → JyaorNew Car Trunk Mat. The thicker 0.2-inch layer and dense polyester fabric offer superior defense against deep scratches, heavy impacts, and abrasive debris.
• Best for pet owners → JyaorNew Car Trunk Mat. The combination of washability, water repellency, and non-slip backing creates a safer, cleaner environment for animals that track in mud and hair.
• Best for custom sizing → Luxshiny Black Oxford Cloth. While both are universal, the Luxshiny model is specifically noted for being easy to cut to fit odd shapes without compromising structural integrity due to its thin, pliable nature.
• Best for noise reduction → JyaorNew Car Trunk Mat. The added mass and thickness of the polyester weave naturally absorb more road noise and cargo shifting sounds than the single-layer Oxford cloth.
• Best for seasonal storage → Luxshiny Black Oxford Cloth. If you only need protection for winter tires or summer camping trips, the ability to fold it small makes it the logical choice for off-season stowage.
• Best for visual impact → JyaorNew Car Trunk Mat. The distinctive mushroom print breaks the monotony of standard automotive interiors, appealing to those who want their car accessories to reflect their personality.
• Best for low-maintenance cleaning → JyaorNew Car Trunk Mat. While both are wipe-down friendly, the JyaorNew mat's machine-wash capability handles heavier soiling more effectively without risk of damage to the material.
After weighing the specifications and intended use cases, I would choose the JyaorNew Car Trunk Mat for my own vehicle. While the Luxshiny option is undeniably clever for its ability to disappear into a corner, I prefer the peace of mind that comes with a thicker, more substantial liner. The 0.2-inch thickness and durable polyester construction offer real protection against the inevitable scrapes, spills, and heavy loads that come with daily life. I value the machine-washable feature and the non-slip stability that keeps my cargo secure. Ultimately, for tight spaces where I need a temporary fix, I keep the Luxshiny on hand, but for permanent installation, the JyaorNew is the superior investment for protecting my car's interior.
The Luxshiny mat is only 1 inch thick and made of a single layer of Oxford cloth. While it protects against dust and liquid spills, it offers minimal resistance to deep scratches from sharp objects compared to thicker liners.
Yes, the product description confirms that for heavier soiling, the JyaorNew polyester fabric mat can be rinsed with water or placed directly into a washing machine for cleaning.
For a trunk with very limited vertical clearance, the Luxshiny Black Oxford Cloth is the better choice due to its ultra-slim 1-inch profile and lightweight design that won't interfere with closing the hatch.
Both mats feature non-slip backings. The JyaorNew uses a textured backing on a flexible polyester base, while the Luxshiny relies on its waterproof design and grip to prevent movement, though the heavier JyaorNew may feel more anchored under load.
