We charge more for larger dogs primarily because they require additional time, and products like shampoo and conditioner during the grooming process. In addition, larger dogs tend to shed more hair, which can lead to extra cleaning and maintenance of our grooming area.

Brushing your dog or cat between grooming appointments is essential because it helps prevent matting and reduces shedding. Regular brushing maintains your pet's coat health, making grooming sessions more effective and comfortable for your furry friend while keeping your home cleaner. That's a win-win!

That said, we have our own dogs and understand how busy life can get. Sometimes you just don't get to brushing, and that's okay. We're in this together and want to make sure your pets stay happy and heathy, and we NEVER want our clients to feel ashamed. We do not offer mobile grooming services because our salon is equipped with all the necessary tools and facilities to ensure the highest quality of care for your pets. In a salon setting, we have the space and resources to provide a safe, comfortable, and controlled environment. We only groom one pet at a time, ensuring that every grooming session meets our rigorous standards. Mobile grooming may lack the same level of equipment and space, which could compromise the quality and safety of the service we aim to provide. Additionally, some pets may feel more anxious on their home turf and act territorial. Our stationary salon allows us to maintain the highest grooming standards and focus on the well-being of your pets. 

Trimming your dog's nails is important for several reasons. Overgrown nails can lead to discomfort and pain for your pet, as they can cause issues like ingrown nails or splayed toes. Additionally, long nails can affect your dog's posture and gait, potentially leading to joint problems. Regular nail trimming also prevents scratches on your floors and furniture and minimizes the risk of injury to both your pet and others during playtime.

Do your dog's ears smell stinky, sweet, or yeasty? They probably need to be cleaned! Some dogs like doodles have fur inside the ear that needs to be shaved as well. Dirty or overgrown ears can trap moisture and cause infections. Regular ear cleaning helps prevent these problems, ensures good ear hygiene, and keeps your dog's ears in optimal condition. We offer ear cleaning as part of our grooming services, and we would be happy to teach you how at your next appointment if you would like!
