A masterpiece to behold, the brain's complexity and intricacy artfully told.

Create an artwork that visually represents the complex and intricate structure of the human brain.

From stars to synapses, an artful portrayal of the connections between galaxies and neurons, their similarities and contrasts ablaze.

Create an artwork that visually represents the connections between the microscopic world of neurons and the macroscopic world of galaxies, highlighting the similarities and differences.

the colours of the mind

In hues of the mind, an artful portrayal of how imagination and creativity dance, and the brain's role of this enchanting trance.

Create an artwork that explores the role of the brain in imagination and how it relates to creativity.

The merge

When flesh and steel fuse, humans and robots become 'one'; a powerful 'one'.

Create and artwork the represents the intersection of neuroscience and robotics, and how they might be used to enhance human performance.

when things go wrong

Amidst shattered dreams and tears, we learn and grow when life takes an unexpected turn.

Create an artwork that represents the experience of living with a neurological disorder such as epilepsy, Alzheimer's disease, or Parkinson's disease

Deadline: 7th of May 2023

Rules

1) Late submissions will not be accepted.

2) You are welcome to use the themes in the following way:

a) Use one theme out of the 5 provided to create your artwork

b) Merge 2 themes out of the 5 provided to create your artwork

3) All forms of art are welcome to enter this competition. (These include pottery, digital art, sculptures, oil painting, etc).

4) Your submission should have the following:

a) Good quality picture of your artwork. Multiple images of the same artwork are welcome and these should be in ".png" form

b) A ".txt" file of the description accompanying your artwork. This should not exceed 150 words.

c) The "subject" of your email should in the following format: "Yourname_TheThemeYouChose".

5) All submissions must be sent to: neuralnetworksluu@gmail.com
