In these unprecedented times, many in our community find themselves without food or income to adequately manage family needs. 

Please consider donating to Lut’s Pantry to assist others with food and hygiene resources.  Financial support, food and/or hygiene items are accepted.  We are a Gleaners agency.  That partnership grants us access to great products at low prices, but we need funds to purchase.

Food insecurity is increasing due to economic uncertainty, and social distancing practices mandates to protect public health.  Our ordering capacity needs to increase to stay on pace with demand.

ABOUT LUT'S PANTRY

Lut’s Pantry is one of three Muslim-operated food pantries in Indianapolis, and has been in operation since 2008, offering temporary food assistance to Muslim and non-Muslim families in Central Indiana. Our pantry is stocked with many items, including, meats, fresh vegetables, fresh fruit, nonperishable canned goods, baking items, and cleaning and hygiene products.

Lut’s Pantry distributes food using a “client’s choice” model, meaning that clients individually select items they would like to receive. It is not only important to us that we serve the need in our surrounding community, but also that we do it in a way that respects and preserves our clients’ dignity.

Monthly Distributions on the 4th Saturday, 1 pm - 3 pm

Lut’s Pantry is supported by Masjid Al Mumineen, Services for Human Advancement and Resource Enhancement (SHARE), Gleaners Food Bank, local maasijid, donors and volunteers.
