About Me
This is a github link to a website I created about me during our summer virtual instruction.
The Karim Kharbouch Coding Fellowship is a 12-month program that starts with paid, virtual summer training in technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Fellows also receive monthly career workshops and coaching, focusing on resume building, interviewing, and networking.
The program helped equip me with new technical and career readiness skills for success in the tech industry and higher education. It helped enhance my skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and UX/UI design. I participate din workshops on job interviews and mentorship that include weekly engagements with tech professionals. We also delivered virtual presentations of final projects to tech professionals, funders and community stakeholders, helping me gain very valuable insight and knowledge.
At Genius Kids Learning Center a variety of subjects are offered to students of various ages. English, Math, Armenian, Science, and Chess are some of the classes students of age 4-14. I have been with mostly every subject to kids of many different ages since May of 2023. Genius Kids Learning Center also has camps for both the summer and winter in which even more classes and activities are completed. The summer camp of 2023, for example, had English, Math, Armenian, Science, Dance, Music, Robotics, and many more fun and engaging activities for all ages.
Overall, teaching at a summer camp like Genius Kids Learning Center offers a multifaceted experience that significantly contributed to my development as an educator, providing me with a diverse skill set and practical teaching strategies. Adaptability, teamwork, creativity, problem-solving, and cultural sensitivity are key skills developed through this diverse teaching experience.

As Vice President my duties include organizing and preparing classes and events, keeping track of attendees, sharing information, and keeping in regular contact with other club executives and members. I am gaining experience in this position and realizing how crucial it is to be a trustworthy, well-organized group leader.
