DD-Tech ("we", "our", or "us") provides the Luna Stories application (the "App") as a free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS". This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information and sensitive user data.
1. Microphone and Local Storage Access (Core Feature) The App includes a feature that allows parents or guardians to record their own voice reading bedtime stories. To provide this functionality, the App requires access to:
Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO permission): Used exclusively to record your voice.
Local Storage (READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE permissions): Used to save and retrieve the recorded audio files on your device so you can play them back later.
Important Disclosure: All voice recordings are processed and saved strictly locally on your device. We do not upload, transmit, share, or store your audio recordings on any external servers. We do not have access to your recorded voice, and it is never shared with any third parties.
2. Children's Privacy The App is designed for children and families. We take children's privacy very seriously and fully comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play’s Families Policy.
We do not knowingly collect, prompt, or require children under the age of 13 to provide any personally identifiable information.
The voice recording feature is intended to be used by parents or guardians. As stated above, all resulting audio data remains local to the device.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe we have unintentionally collected personal data from your child, please contact us immediately at koorukorea.dev@gmail.com so we can take necessary actions.
3. Information Collection and Use Aside from the local audio recordings, the App does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to function. If you choose to contact us for support, we will collect your email address (koorukorea.dev@gmail.com is our support email) and any other information you provide, strictly for the purpose of resolving your inquiry.
4. Data Retention and Deletion Because your voice recordings are saved locally on your own device, you have full control over your data. You can delete the recordings at any time by:
Deleting the specific recordings within the App.
Clearing the App's data in your device's settings.
Uninstalling the App from your device.
5. Third-Party Services The App does not use Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies on external servers to process your data. The text-to-speech (TTS) features utilize the built-in TTS engine provided locally by your device's operating system.
6. Security We value your trust in using our App. Since sensitive data (voice recordings) is stored locally on your device, its security primarily relies on your device's built-in security measures (such as screen locks and device encryption).
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
