Biography
Dr. Luna Goldblatt earned her Ph.D. in Business Administration at University of Massachusetts Boston, College of Management. She teaches accounting, taxation and finance courses to both lower- and upper-level undergraduate students.
Luna has published in highly competitive journals such as Journal of Corporate Finance and Annals of Economics and Finance. She works in several research areas in finance and accounting such as financial reporting, corporate finance, private equity and information asymmetry. She is particularly interested in exploring how the changes in information environment impact corporate reporting and performance in a meaningful way, through their altering effects on managerial incentives.
Luna has served as ad hoc referee for Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Forensic and Investigative Accounting, and Eurasian Economic Review.
When she is not teaching or conducting research, she can be found at the local library practicing new languages, most recently, modern Hebrew.
