How to turn in Student Attendance Notes

All doctors notes and parent notes can be sent to 

luna.attendance@nisd.net

OR brought to campus by your student. They can be dropped off at the Attendance Window between 8am and 3:45pm.

If you receive a robocall that your student was marked UA and you believe it was by mistake, please reach out directly to the teacher of record through your HAC portal access. If your student states there was a substitute for the class, please contact Mrs. Barthold at patricia.barthold@nisd.net

Please include the following information on the notes or in the email: Student's Full Name, (not nickname) Student's ID Number and the dates he/she missed school. 

For the safety of our students and staff if you are reporting an absence related to COVID, avoid coming to the campus and please contact our campus nurses at:

If you are registering a new to NISD student, please follow the procedure on the below link.

If you are moving to Luna Middle School from another NISD campus, please bring the following to Luna and we can get your student started at Luna. 

Proof of the new address in the Luna Attendance Zone with the Parent/Guardian's name, in the form of  one of the following:

 Along with the Parent/Guardian's Drivers License.
