The Pinnakan Festival in Luna, La Union, is an annual celebration (often held in November) themed around unity, generosity, and the Ilocano tradition of eating together. Rooted in history, it honors the town's heritage of hospitality—specifically feeding travelers—featuring communal feasts with native delicacies, vibrant street dancing, and cultural performances.  

The Our Lady of Namacpacan Anniversary (often celebrated around Nov 24-25 in Luna, La Union) honors the 6-foot-4-inch "Apo Baket," the tallest known Marian image in the Philippines. It commemorates the 1871 arrival of the image, featuring a fluvial parade, cultural dances, and the Pinnakan Festival, which focuses on community sharing.
