Privacy Policy for Luna

At Luna, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how we handle your data within the application.
1. Data Collection and Usage
Luna is designed as an offline-first application.
Personal & Health Data: All health-related data (period dates, symptoms, moods, etc.) are stored locally on your device. We do not collect or store this sensitive data on our servers.
Backups: If you choose to use the "Export Backup" feature, a file is created on your device which you can manually save to your own cloud storage or share. We do not have access to these files.
2. Data Retention and Deletion
Retention Period: All health data is stored exclusively on your device. There is no automatic deletion. Your data remains on your device until you manually delete it or uninstall the application.
Within the app: Â Open the app, go to Settings > Clear All Data to delete all stored period and health information.
Uninstall the app: Uninstalling Luna will remove all data associated with the application from your device.
Manual file deletion: You can also delete individual backup files you created through the Export feature from your cloud storage or device.
Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.
3. Permissions
To provide its features, the app may request the following:
Notifications: To send you reminders about your cycle and medications.
Storage/File Access: Only used when you explicitly export or import a backup file.
4. Advertising
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect certain information (such as your device's advertising ID) to show relevant ads. You can manage these settings through your Google account.
