LumiXfer™ has revealed the name of its first satellite: VetriVelSat. The satellite is named after Lord Murugan's Vel, symbolizing victory and protection.
LumiXfer has submitted a proposal to IN-SPACe for the satellite’s launch, which will take place between February and March 2026. The goal of the mission is to test secure, high-speed data transfer in space.

The session showcased our focus areas including Satellite Manufacturing, Ground Systems, Space Applications, and Advanced Space Technologies.

LumiXfer achieved a historic milestone by officially registering with IN-SPACe under the Department of Space, Government of India. This recognition places LumiXfer within ISRO’s private space ecosystem, propelling its mission in quantum-secure, light-speed data transfer and nano-satellite-based cloud infrastructure for India and the world.
