I'm an entrepreneur, data journalist, and designer who founded a company in 2021 focused on impactful data visualizations and strategic PR, serving clients like McDonald's, Baidu, Meituan, Weibo, and Tencent.
Recognized as an active voice in Chinese data journalism (Yin et al., 2024; Fang, 2024), I spoke at TEDx Guangzhou 2023, and my coverage has been cited by outlets such as The Times, BBC, New York Times, The Economist, etc.
In spare time, I am a final-year Ph.D. candidate in Communication at Fudan University under Prof. Baohua Zhou, entering the 2025–26 academic job market.
My research explores emerging media and human interaction, with a focus on social impact and psychological well-being. My work has been published in Telematics and Informatics, Convergence, Journalism, JMIR, Discourse Context & Media, International Journal of Communication, and Journalism Practice. Recently, I received the Grand Prize for Fudan Academic Stars 2025.
I love teaching. I am an adjunct lecturer at Shanghai International Studies University and Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (Spring 2022—present). I have mentored students to win 9 top journalism awards, including the China Daily Campus News Awards. I was honored with the Excellent Mentor Award.
Previously, I earned an MA in Financial Media with a minor in Management (2022) from Peking University HSBC Business School, and BA in Film Editing from East China Normal University (2019).
