Lumina – No Contact Healing

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using Lumina – No Contact Healing (“Lumina”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”).

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the app.

By using Lumina, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

2. Description of Service

Lumina is a mobile application designed to support users through breakups and the “no contact” process. The app provides:

• Progress tracking (e.g., streaks)

• Journaling and reflection tools

• Motivational and emotional support features

• An AI-powered chat experience

The AI chat feature is powered by OpenAI.

Lumina is intended for personal development and emotional support only.

3. No Account Requirement

Lumina does not require user registration or account creation.

All user data is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for maintaining access to your device and your data.

4. Subscription and Payments

4.1 Pricing

Lumina offers optional premium subscriptions:

• $12.99 per month

• $29.99 per year

Prices may vary by region and are subject to change.

4.2 Payment Processing

All payments are processed through the Apple App Store.

By subscribing, you agree to Apple’s payment terms and conditions.

4.3 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

5. Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings.

• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period

• You will retain access to premium features until that time

Refunds

We do not provide refunds directly.

All refund requests must be handled through Apple and are subject to Apple’s standard refund policy.

6. Acceptable Use

By using Lumina, you agree not to:

• Use the app for unlawful purposes

• Attempt to reverse engineer or disrupt the app

• Use the AI feature to generate harmful, abusive, or illegal content

• Misuse or exploit the app in any way

We reserve the right to restrict access if misuse is detected.

7. Disclaimer – Not Therapy or Medical Advice

Lumina is not a medical, psychological, or mental health service.

• The app does not provide therapy

• The AI chat is not a licensed therapist

• Content is for informational and self-help purposes only

If you are experiencing severe emotional distress, we strongly recommend seeking help from a qualified professional.

In emergencies, contact your local emergency services immediately.

8. AI Feature Disclaimer

The AI chat feature is powered by OpenAI.

You acknowledge that:

• AI responses may not always be accurate or appropriate

• The AI does not understand your personal situation fully

• You should not rely on AI responses as professional advice

Use the AI feature at your own discretion.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Lumina is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind

• We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted

Sam Grout shall not be liable for:

• Any emotional, psychological, or personal outcomes

• Loss of data

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Your use of the app is entirely at your own risk.

10. Changes to the Service

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue features

• Change pricing

• Update functionality

We may do this at any time without prior notice.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

When we do:

• The updated Terms will be posted in the app

• The “Effective date” will be revised

Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in the Netherlands.
