Lumi is a general wellness and relationship journaling app. No Lumi account, email address or phone number is required to use the app. This policy describes the rebuilt app and the services it uses.
Your journal and photos
Names and relationship preferences you enter, reflections, moods, interaction records, Anchor memories and selected photos, and Orbit intentions are stored locally on your device. Lumi does not upload these journal records or photos to an application server. Existing records may be imported locally when you update an older version. Device-level backups are controlled by your operating system and its settings.
Analytics, crash reporting and purchases
Lumi uses Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to understand app use and diagnose problems. These services process app screen/action events, installation or app-instance identifiers, device and app information, crash logs and diagnostics. Analytics can derive approximate location from the network connection. Lumi does not request GPS location. Custom analytics events do not include your entered name, journal text, mood values or saved photos. Advertising-ID collection and ad personalization are disabled. Lumi does not display ads.
Google Play or Apple processes payments. RevenueCat processes purchase history, product/transaction information and an app-user identifier to manage Premium access and restore purchases. Lumi does not receive your full card details.
Firebase, RevenueCat and the app stores process information to provide their services. Network transfers to these services use encrypted connections. Lumi does not sell your journal data or send it to advertising partners.
Permissions and children
Notification permission is optional and is used for reminders scheduled on your device. Photo access uses the system picker for images you choose to save. The app does not require access to your contacts or precise location.
Lumi is not directed to children under 13. It is a general wellness tool and does not diagnose or treat medical conditions.
Feedback and privacy questions
Settings → Help & Feedback opens a Google Form in your browser. Reports and suggestions are submitted only when you choose to send them. A reply email address is optional. Google Forms processes the information you submit under its own service terms and privacy practices.

We may update this policy when the app or its services change. The latest version and date are published on this page.
Data retention and deletion
Journal records stay on your device until you delete them or remove the app and its local storage. Uninstalling can permanently remove locally stored records; operating-system backups may follow separate retention settings. Analytics, crash and purchase information is retained by the service providers according to their services and applicable requirements.
To request deletion of feedback or service-provider records associated with you, use the Help & Feedback form linked above and describe the request. We may need information to locate the relevant records and verify the request. No Lumi account deletion is needed because the app does not offer account creation. Store transaction records may be retained by Apple or Google under their own requirements.
