Marble Atelier is an Android game developed by Lumenstone Studios (“we”, “us” or “our”). This policy explains how information is handled when you play the game, purchase or restore the full-game unlock, contact us or visit this website. Lumenstone Studios is responsible for the personal information it processes for these purposes.
For privacy enquiries, contact Tyrone.pyke1020@hotmail.com.
Marble Atelier offers free introductory content and an optional, one-time purchase to permanently unlock the full game while the purchase remains valid. This is not a subscription and does not involve recurring charges.
Purchases are processed through Google Play Billing. Google handles your payment details and payment authorisation. We do not receive your full payment-card number, card security code or bank-account credentials through the game’s billing integration.
To confirm ownership and provide access to purchased content, the game processes purchase-related information supplied by Google Play. This includes a purchase token, which identifies the purchase, the product identifier and the purchase status. These details can relate to you through your purchase even though they do not directly identify you by name.
The game sends purchase information to a backend verification service, which checks the purchase with Google Play. The result is used to grant or restore your full-game entitlement, confirm that a purchase remains valid and protect against unauthorised access. A purchase token is a transaction identifier, not your card details or Google password.
Purchase verification and restoration require an internet connection. We use purchase and entitlement information to provide the content you have paid for, resolve purchase problems and prevent misuse. We do not use it for advertising or to build marketing profiles.
Game progress, save data, settings and preferences are stored locally on your device. The game also stores information about your verified premium entitlement so that it can recognise your full-game access when you play offline. Purchase verification is separate from your gameplay save data; it does not require uploading your saved progress.
You can remove local game data by clearing the app’s storage in Android settings. This resets local progress, preferences and cached entitlement information. Reinstalling the game or moving to another device may require you to restore your purchase using the Google Play account that made it. Restoring a purchase does not itself restore locally stored game progress.
Clearing local data does not cancel a purchase or remove records held by Google or the purchase-verification service. Device backup and transfer behaviour can depend on your Android version, device settings and the app’s backup configuration.
The game supports offline gameplay, including access based on locally stored, verified premium ownership. An internet connection is needed to make a purchase, complete initial purchase verification or restore ownership. A temporary connection problem does not itself mean that a purchase has been refunded or revoked. Confirmed changes to purchase validity may affect premium access.
Marble Atelier does not include advertising, player accounts, advertising tracking, analytics or developer-operated crash reporting. Google Play and Android may separately process information about app installation, operation and technical problems under their own privacy arrangements.
If you contact us, we receive your email address, your message and any information or attachments you choose to provide. We use these to respond, investigate the issue and manage related follow-up. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive information.
Where UK data protection law applies, we process purchase and entitlement information as necessary to perform our contract with you, including supplying and restoring purchased content. Without the information needed to verify a purchase, we may be unable to activate or restore the full-game unlock.
We rely on our legitimate interests in protecting the game against misuse and responding to general support enquiries, taking account of your rights and reasonable expectations. Where relevant, we also process information to comply with legal obligations, such as responding to valid legal requests.
Google Play provides payment processing and purchase-status information. The backend verification service and its hosting providers process the information needed to validate purchases and return entitlement results. We use these services for purchase administration and game access, not advertising.
We do not sell your personal information. Information may also be disclosed where necessary to comply with the law, respond to a valid legal request or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Google’s handling of information is explained in the Google Privacy Policy. Google operates internationally; its policy explains where it processes information and the protections it applies. You may contact us for information about the service providers involved in processing your purchase-verification data.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the information we handle. Purchase ownership is checked through the verification process before access is granted. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Please contact us if you believe information relating to the game has been misused.
Local game data remains on your device until it is removed or replaced. Purchase and entitlement records are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to recognise valid ownership, restore access, resolve payment disputes, prevent misuse and meet applicable legal obligations. The relevant criteria include whether the entitlement remains active, whether an enquiry or dispute is outstanding and whether a legal requirement justifies continued retention.
Support correspondence is retained only for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and related follow-up, or to meet an applicable legal requirement. Information should be deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed for these purposes.
You can request deletion of personal information held by us using the contact address below. We may need limited information to identify the relevant records and confirm your entitlement to make the request. Some information may need to be retained for valid legal reasons, which we will explain. Requests concerning Google’s own records must be made to Google; deleting our records does not delete your Google Play transaction history.
The purchase, local-storage and support practices described in this policy also apply where a player is a child. The game does not ask players to create an account or provide their name or date of birth. Parents and guardians should supervise purchases and use Google Play’s available purchase-approval controls.
If you are a parent or guardian with concerns about a child’s personal information, contact us. We will consider the request and take appropriate action in accordance with applicable data protection law. This policy does not replace the age-rating and audience information shown on the game’s Google Play listing.
Subject to the conditions and exceptions in applicable law, you may request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, restriction of processing and a portable copy of information where the right to data portability applies.
Right to object: you may object to processing based on our legitimate interests, on grounds relating to your particular situation.
To exercise your rights, email Tyrone.pyke1020@hotmail.com. We will respond within the period required by law, normally one month, and explain any lawful extension or limitation. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
This privacy policy is hosted on Google Sites. Google may process information about visits to this website under its own privacy policy. Website processing is separate from information stored locally by Marble Atelier.
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the game, its services or applicable requirements. The revision date above identifies the latest version. Where required, we will provide additional notice of significant changes.
