Lumen Flash Pro is a completely offline utility. We do not require internet access, and we do not collect, store, track, or transmit any personal data, usage metrics, or location information. The app operates entirely locally on your device.
To provide the core functionalities of the app, we request specific device permissions. We use these strictly for hardware control, with no data extraction involved:
Camera Permission: Lumen Flash Pro requires access to your device's camera hardware. This is used strictly to access and control the LED Flash (via the Camera2 API) for the Flash, SOS, and Strobe features. We do not use this permission to capture photographs, record video, or process any visual data.
Wake Lock Permission: If you choose to enable the "screen-wake lock" option in the Settings, the app requires permission to keep your device's screen on while the flashlight or SOS functions are active. This ensures uninterrupted operation in critical situations.
The app is designed to be battery-aware and safe for your device hardware. It includes an automatic shut-off feature after 5 minutes of continuous use to prevent battery drain and hardware overheating. No data regarding your battery usage is sent to us; this is managed entirely by your device's local system.
Because Lumen Flash Pro has no internet capabilities, it is entirely free of third-party advertising networks, analytics trackers, and crash-reporting SDKs. Your app usage, including your preferred brightness levels, strobe frequencies, and haptic/sound settings, remains completely private on your device.
Our application is safe for users of all ages. Because we do not collect any personal data, we inherently do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy if future updates require a change in how the app interacts with your device's hardware. Any changes will be reflected within the app, and the "Effective Date" at the top of this document will be updated.
