1. Introduction

Lume HRV Stress Monitor ("the App") is a health and wellness application designed exclusively for iOS and Apple Watch. It helps you monitor stress, activity, sleep, nutrition, and vital health metrics. All data is processed locally on your device. No data is transmitted to servers, shared with third parties, or accessed by the developer.

2. Information Accessed & Processed

The App processes the following data only on your device:

• Health & Sensor Data:

  • Steps, distance, and activity history (synced with Apple Health).

  • Heart rate, HRV (Heart Rate Variability), blood oxygen, and blood pressure (manual or device inputs).

  • Sleep quality, duration, and alarms.

  • Body temperature (manual input).

  • Water intake and calorie consumption.

• User Inputs:

  • Goals (steps, hydration, sleep, calories).

  • Dietary preferences for personalized recommendations.

  • Chat interactions with the in-app AI bot for health suggestions.

3. How Data Is Used

Data is used exclusively on-device to:

• Generate stress/health reports and trends.

• Adjust goals (steps, sleep, hydration, calories).

• Provide diet recommendations and chatbot suggestions.

• Enable alarms for sleep, hydration, or activity reminders.
  No data leaves your device at any time.

4. Data Storage & Security

• Storage: All data resides solely on your iOS/Apple Watch.

• Security:

  • Protected by Apple’s device encryption (iOS/watchOS).

  • No accounts, sign-ups, or cloud backups.

  • Deleted immediately upon app uninstallation.

5. Third-Party Services & Sharing

• No Data Sharing: The App does not transmit data to servers, advertisers, or third parties.

• Apple Health (Optional):

  • If enabled, data syncs only between the App and Apple Health on your device.

  • Requires your explicit permission via iOS Health settings.

6. Your Control

• Permissions: Revoke sensor/data access anytime via iOS Settings > Privacy.

• Data Deletion: Uninstall the App to erase all data permanently.

• Apple Health: Manage access via the Health app.

7. Children’s Privacy

Not intended for users under 13. No data is knowingly collected from children.

8. Policy Updates

Updates will be posted in the App and on the App Store. Continued use implies acceptance.
