I have extensive expertise in mass spectrometry-based analysis. My specialization encompasses both non-targeted screening and targeted analysis of chemicals, with a particular focus on the identification and evaluation of transformation products, along with their pharmacological and toxicological implications.
My research endeavors have primarily concentrated on the occurrence and impact of microplastics in aquatic ecosystems, as well as the presence and transformation of pesticides in urban environments. Additionally, I have been involved in projects aimed at the identification and quantification of emerging organic contaminants in food samples, and the investigation of phytochemicals using mass spectrometry-based approaches.

Education
MSc in Environmental Science, Mawlana Bhashani Science Technology University, Bangladesh, 2020
BSc., Environmental Science and Resource Management, Mawlana Bhashani Science Technology University, Bangladesh, 2018
Research Area
My research area lies in the analysis of the occurrence of pesticides on soils in the urban environment. Currently, I am working on the analysis of pesticides in the soil inside the Detroit Metropolitan area. Moreover, I am also interested in working on the adsorption of microplastics, and microbial analysis in soil. Previously, I worked on “Microbial Quality of Drinking Water at Tangail Municipality of Bangladesh with Particular Focus on Antimicrobial Resistance of Different Isolates from Biochemical Test”.

B.Sc, Environmental Science, Wayne State University, Detroit, MI, Winter 2024
Research Area
My research focuses on rubber additives and the analysis of their impact on aquatic species and the ecosystem. We are currently working on studying the sources of these additives and observing their harmful effects on the exposed species. Our study area includes various places around Michigan such as lakes in Detroit and Port Huron. Examining the water quality with further relation to the presence of the rubber additives will also be part of my interest due to previous experiences in aquatic ecology.
