Dr. Luke Jones is a microeconomist and Professor of Economics at Valdosta State University, where he teaches undergraduate courses in microeconomics and MBA courses in managerial economics and strategic consulting.Â
His research examines policy-relevant questions in environmental, transportation, and energy economics, using experimental and survey-based methods combined with microeconomic theory and econometric choice modeling.
He has extensive experience applying these skills to provide local governments, nonprofits, and private organizations with rigorous economic analysis to support evidence-based decision making.
Dr. Jones received his B.A. in Economics with a minor in mathematics from Salisbury University, followed by his M.A. and Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Tennessee.
