If you used Flash back in the day and you are a creative, you are probably going to love Wick Editor. It has that same timeline driven feel for animation and interactive work, but it runs in the browser and it is completely free. In this video I give a quick history of Wick Editor, then I show how I started mucking about and discovered I could build my own Bridge that lets external tools talk to the editor. From there I created Luke Tools, a simple menu that launches those tools so I can inject code in two ways Sandbox testing so I can try ideas fast. Completed plugin style tools that extend what Wick Editor can do. This video is the foundation for a series where I share my Luke Tools one by one and explain how each one works.
