Who I am
Hi there!
My name is Lukas. I come from a lost village in the middle of Germany, have roots in a lost village in the middle of Austria, and Europe is my home. Currently, I am based in Antwerp, where I work on multidimensional well-being measurement together with Koen Decancq.
To me, a workday is most exciting when I can solve tricky problems, collaborate with colleagues, or communicate our results. With my background in economics, I like to tackle the statistical and behavioural issues related to the elicitation of preferences. During my PhD trajectory, I have gained relevant experience in setting up survey experiments and analysing micro-data sets.
After working hours, I am mostly found bouldering, playing chess or drums, or sewing clothes; unless my friends have something else in mind.
