I am an Associate Professor at the Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics and Cybernetics (CIIRC), Czech Technical University in Prague. I also serve as a Senior Research Scientist at Filuta AI.
My core expertise lies in symbolic decision making, primarily Automated Planning — a subfield of AI concerned with generating sequences of actions for agents to achieve goals. Fundamental research includes planning model reformulation to improve efficiency of planning systems, and "planning against nature" that generates plans resilient towards exogenous events (or "acts of nature"). Application-oriented research involves urban traffic routing, mission planning for autonomous vehicles, and regression game testing. My publication record exceeds 100 papers, including those published at top-tier AI venues such as ICAPS, KR, AAAI, and IJCAI.
