I am a 4th year PhD candidate in economics at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg where I am advised by Prof. Malte Rieth. Also, I am affiliated with Halle Institute for Economic Research (IWH). 

I am an empirical macroeconomist specializing in international trade, capital flows and monetary and fiscal policy.

Before starting my PhD, I worked as a Data Scientist in quantitative credit risk management. This is why I enjoy a good %>%.

I'll be visiting the Bundesbank as a PhD intern in spring '26.
