I am a 4th year PhD candidate in economics at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, advised by Prof. Malte Rieth, and affiliated with Halle Institute for Economic Research (IWH).
I work in empirical macroeconomics, focusing on international trade, capital flows, and monetary and fiscal policy.
Before starting my PhD, I worked as a Data Scientist in quantitative credit risk management — which explains my appreciation for a good %>%.
In 2026, I will be visiting the Deutsche Bundesbank and later joining the European Central Bank (ECB) as a PhD trainee. If you're in Frankfurt, feel free to reach out.
