I’m a Research Fellow at Monash University’s SoDa Labs. 

My work sits at the intersection of political economy and development, focusing on development finance, digital infrastructure such as  internet quality and access, and conflict. 

I build and analyze large-scale spatial datasets and use applied econometrics to answer policy-relevant questions. 

I hold a PhD in Economics from the University of Göttingen,  a MSc in International Political Economy from the London School of Economics and have previously studied economics in Bayreuth, Bordeaux, and São Paulo. 

My work has been published in the American Journal of Political Science and Economic Development and Cultural Change.
